Marco Veronese | Connection with the Universe | Summer exhibition

2026. June 19. - August 16.

Italian artist Marco Veronese is one of the most compelling voices in contemporary art. Working across photography, painting, sculpture, writing, and poetry, he consciously transcends the boundaries between artistic disciplines, creating a visual language that unites classical artistic traditions with the expressive possibilities of the present. His artistic vision was shaped early in life through an intense fascination with Renaissance and Mannerist art, whose beauty, harmony, and spiritual depth continue to resonate throughout his work. Veronese sees our era at a turning point and proposes the idea of a “new Renaissance.” For him, this is not merely an artistic revival, but a profound transformation of consciousness encompassing social, economic, and individual dimensions alike. The search for deeper spirituality and a more conscious relationship with the world lies at the heart of his artistic practice.

A defining characteristic of Veronese’s work is the combination of iconic imagery, luminous color, and richly layered symbolism. Hearts, butterflies, plants, animals, and other archetypal motifs frequently appear as carriers of universal messages. His compositions balance beauty and contemplation, poetic lightness and social reflection. Their impact lies not only in their visual appeal but also in the multiple meanings concealed beneath the surface. Goldleaf is a recurring element in his oeuvre, recalling the spiritual imagery of the Renaissance while simultaneously raising questions about value, transience, and human responsibility and vanity as well as real values. Veronese’s art invites viewers to look beyond appearances and discover the deeper connections that shape our shared existence.

For the first time, the exhibition is also enriched by an extraordinary bronze sculpture that translates Veronese’s artistic and spiritual vision into three dimensions. The delicate work depicts a human figure and an elephant connected through an organic, interwoven structure. A butterfly and leaves appear as symbols of awareness, growth, and transformation. As in his digital works, the sculpture reflects the interconnectedness of all living beings and the possibility of change through mindfulness and inner development. It demonstrates that Veronese’s message transcends any single medium and permeates his entire artistic practice.

The chamber sales exhibition, that is accompanied with a printed catalogue,  presents a selection of works that reveal Veronese’s unique fusion of digital precision, symbolic depth, and humanistic vision—works that speak of transformation, hope, and the possibility of a more conscious relationship with ourselves and the world around us.
